I'm From Mugwort Essence - Review

The I'm From Mugwort Essence is a hydrating and soothing essence, containing 100% mugwort essence. It helps with reducing redness, and will prep your skin after cleansing to better absorb the products that follow. It is by far our favourite mugwort product! 

It can be beneficial for all skin types, especially those with dry and sensitive skin prone to redness, dehydrated skin, have a damaged moisture barrier, or irritated skin from environmental factors or allergies. 

The texture is thin but slightly viscous. It spreads easily and absorbs quickly into the skin. There is a mild and pleasant herbal scent that disappears upon application. The regular size bottle can last quite a long time (at least 2 months with regular daily use!).

Since using this essence, my skin has felt more hydrated and plump. The most noticeable difference is the elimination of redness - I used to have redness all along my hairline, from forehead down the side by my ears and then down to the jawline and I no longer have that. Additionally, with the change in seasons, for instance when the weather changes from summer to fall, this usually causes a very bad skin reaction for me and will flare up my eczema. It did not happen this year and I think that can be largely attributed to this product. It has kept my skin calm and has not been as reactive to environmental or emotional stresses.

I love that this product has allowed me to see noticeable difference in my skin since using it.  Redness is something that I’ve had to deal with my whole life due to eczema and this has helped so much! I will definitely continue to use this product forever. I truly believe this product is made to help my type of skin and I highly recommend it.

*I have previously used the Missha Time Revolution Artemisia Essence which is a good product, but I prefer the I’m From Mugwort Essence as I believe I have seen better results with it.
